Dr. Chelsea Rogers is an Assistant Professor of English at Charleston Southern University. Her research focuses on African American studies, Children’s and Young Adult Literature, and Graphic Novels with emphases on identity, trauma, race, and community representation. She holds a Ph.D. in English Literature from the University of South Carolina and has been recognized with the MLK Jr. Humanitarian Award for her teaching excellence and dedication to fostering inclusive environments.
