Charmaine Eddy

Charmaine Eddy is Associate Professor of English at Trent University, specializing in modern and contemporary American fiction. Her research examines racial and gender representations through critical frameworks including critical race theory, material feminism, and object-oriented ontology. Eddy maintains particular scholarly focus on William Faulkner and Toni Morrison's literary contributions.

Her publications analyze racial identity construction in Southern literature, bodily representations in African-American fiction, and gender dynamics in 20th century American novels.
