Charlotte Cartwright

Dr. Charlotte Cartwright is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of History at Christopher Newport University. Her research focuses on social and economic history of the High Middle Ages, particularly gender, power dynamics, and family structures in 10th-11th century Normandy. She specializes in the roles of women in Norman ducal families from 996–1066.
