Charles P. Nichols

Charles P. Nichols is a Lecturer in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Loyola University New Orleans. He specializes in social and personality psychology, focusing on mechanisms to advance human well-being through individual goal attainment and sustainable societal systems.

His research bridges two domains:

• Individual well-being - examining happiness, satisfaction, and controllable factors like values, goals, and choices
• Collective well-being - analyzing thriving communities, social/environmental sustainability, and intergroup dynamics
