Chantal Rivard

Chantal Rivard, MD, FRCSC is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Montreal, affiliated with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She practices at the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital, where she leads the Gynecology Department and the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Her research and clinical interests span Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Reproductive Endocrinology, and Minimally Invasive Surgery, with a focus on bioethics and advanced pelvic reconstruction. She contributes to educational programs, including the DES in Minimally Invasive Surgery Training and fellowship initiatives in gynecologic oncology and infertility.

She is also involved in clinical and fundamental research through the GIGO (Groupe d'Étude en Gynécologie et Obstétrique), with activities organized across divisions such as Urogynecology and Advanced Pelvic Reconstruction. Her leadership roles include directing the DES training program and overseeing the Mauricie Campus.
