Ceri Howells

Ceri Howells is the Director of Education for Engineering and a Senior Lecturer in the Engineering and Entrepreneurship Programme at the University of Exeter. He specializes in developing multi-disciplinary Gold Standard Project-Based Learning (GSPBL) modules, integrating technical expertise in sustainable energy, environmental protection, and engineering with skills for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR).

His academic background includes integrated engineering and environmental protection, which inform both the technical content and pedagogical approaches of his modules. He leads the Elevate competition, funded by the Sainsbury's Engineers in Business Fellowship, emphasizing business-oriented engineering education.

Research interests focus on innovative educational frameworks that prepare students for rapidly evolving technologies. His work bridges engineering practice with entrepreneurial mindset development.
