Celeste Peer

Celeste Peer serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at Nebraska Methodist College, teaching Lifespan Development to Nursing students since December 2025. Previously, she worked in the Psychology Department at El Paso Community College from 2003 until 2024 after relocating from her birthplace of El Paso, Texas, to League City, Texas.

Her educational background includes:

• BS in Biological Sciences from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP)
• MA in Experimental Psychology from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP)

Her professional interests focus on psychological applications across the human lifespan, with emphasis on holistic healing through Reiki, military veteran experiences, caregiver support systems, aging populations, and identity development. Her presentations demonstrate integration of psychological principles into healthcare contexts, particularly for nursing education.

She maintains active membership in key professional organizations including the American Psychological Association, Association for Psychological Science, American Association of University Women, and Texas Community College Teachers Association. She also serves on the board of Kids-N-Co and participates in community initiatives through the Travis White Neighborhood Association and Texas Outlaw Soccer Organization.
