Celeste Davis

Celeste Davis serves as an Adjunct Professor and professorial lecturer at American University, where she centers justice in health equity and systems change initiatives through her coalition Justice is Love.

Her educational background includes:

• Master of Public Health (MPH) in Health Management and Policy from the University of Michigan
• Law studies at Boston University School of Law
• Undergraduate education at Bennett College

Davis integrates critical race scholarship with community engagement to develop health care access advocacy strategies. Her work focuses on creating equitable career pathways and institutional transformations that champion BIPOC communities through public health innovation.

She has mentored hundreds of students and practitioners nationwide while contributing to her department's new master's program development and establishing faculty-student collaboration frameworks at American University.
