Cecile Folschweiller

Cécile Folschweiller is a Lecturer at the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO) in Paris, specializing in Romanian language and literature within European studies. Her research focuses on the history of ideas and cultural history in Romania, Franco-German-Romanian cultural transfers, and the intersections of literature, philosophy, and national identity in Eastern Europe.

As co-author of Literatura română / Littérature roumaine (vol. IV, 2013), she contributes to bilingual literary anthologizing. Her 2020 monograph on Émile Picot reconstructs early Romanian-French diplomatic-intellectual networks.
