Tamara Valčić Bulić

Tamara Valčić Bulić is a Professor at the Department of Romance Studies, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad. She holds a doctorate in French Renaissance literature (2009) and has been with the department since 1994, serving as its Head since 2015.

• Research Focus: French Renaissance narratives, comparative poetics, contemporary French fiction, Franco-Serbian cultural ties
• Leadership: Led award-winning theater troupe Les JeuNS (2006-2013)

Her scholarly output spans journals like Revue de Littérature Comparée and publishers such as Classiques Garnier. She has taught in France, Italy, Spain, and across Southeastern Europe.

In translation, she earned the Aleksandar I. Spasić Commendation (2013-2015) for translating Robert Mishambled's History of Violence. She serves on the editorial board of Zbornik za jezike i književnosti and is active in Serbian-French cultural cooperation.
