Cathy S. Rasmussen, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders and Dean of the College of Interprofessional Health and Human Services at Nazareth College. She also serves as Director of the York Wellness & Rehabilitation Institute, overseeing clinical education for health and human services programs.

- M.S.Ed. in Speech-Language Pathology, Nazareth College
- B.A. in Political Science, Harding University
Her research focuses on Cued Speech, spoken language acquisition by children who are deaf or hard of hearing, and interprofessional education initiatives. She co-developed the Deafness Specialty Preparation program with the National Technical Institute for the Deaf.

Dr. Rasmussen actively presents at regional, state, and national venues and has delivered a TEDx Talk on Cued Speech applications. She previously chaired the Communication Sciences & Disorders department at Nazareth College.
