Dr. Aleah S. Brock is an Assistant Professor of Speech-Language Pathology and Assistant Chair of the CHS Department at the University of West Georgia's College of Education. She holds a Ph.D. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Georgia, an M.Ed. in Speech Language Pathology from UWG, and a BS in Communication Disorders from Auburn University. Certified by ASHA and licensed in Georgia, her clinical experience includes work at the Georgia School for the Deaf and healthcare settings serving adult/geriatric populations.
Her research focuses on early language development in Deaf children (both spoken and signed) and evidence-based instruction methodologies for SLP students. She actively serves as an Early Intervention Specialist for Georgia's PINES SKI-HI program, providing in-home language development services for deaf/hard-of-hearing children aged 0-3.
