Cathy Holt is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester's Division of Cardiovascular Sciences. Her research focuses on atherosclerosis mechanisms, vascular occlusion, and stem cell therapies for myocardial infarction. She holds a PhD from the University of Sheffield (1989) and a Senior Fellowship from the Higher Education Academy (2015). Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being.
