Catherine Craig is an Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of British Columbia, Okanagan Campus (UBCO). She holds a PhD in Political Science from Baylor University (2022) and previously served as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at Arizona State University's School of Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership (SCETL) (2021–2023). Her research focuses on classical political philosophy, the intersection of politics with literature and the arts, and contemporary ethical governance issues.

Research Interests: Craig explores political theory through classical thinkers like Plato and Aristotle, modern figures such as Hannah Arendt and Simone Weil, and the portrayal of political themes in literature, film, and visual arts. Her work bridges theoretical analysis with cultural critique.
Professional Contributions: She chairs sections on 'Politics, Literature, and the Arts' for the American Political Science Association (2023–2024) and 'Politics, Literature, and Film' for the Midwest Political Science Association (2023–2024). Her 2023 book Memory and the Political Art in Plato’s Statesman (Lexington Press) examines political thought through classical lenses.
Teaching: Craig teaches courses in political theory, including 'Great Debates in American Politics and Economics' and 'Great Ideas in Politics and Ethics' at the undergraduate level.
