Catherine A. Simmons

Catherine A. Simmons is a Professor in the Department of Social Work at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) College of Public Service. With a Ph.D. in Social Work (2006) and prior experience as an Air Force officer managing family violence and mental health programs, she integrates leadership, ethics, and trauma expertise into her academic role. She holds the LCSW credential in Colorado, Tennessee, and Texas, and has over 20 years of experience in interpersonal violence and program management.
