Cassandra R. Davis

Cassandra R. Davis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Policy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her research focuses on environmental disruptions to schooling communities, particularly addressing systemic racism and inequitable disaster aid distribution to marginalized populations. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Education, a B.A. in Sociology from Wake Forest University, and a certificate in Global Education and Development Studies from Ludwig-Maximilians Universität in Munich.
