Dr. Casey Sharpe is an Associate Professor in the Forensic Psychology Department at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She directs the outpatient fitness to stand trial restoration program (2018-2025) and maintains a private forensic practice providing evaluations, expert testimony, and consultation services for law enforcement, courts, and mental health institutions.
Research interests focus on violence risk assessment methodologies, forensic evaluation protocols, mental health legislation, and policy advocacy. Her work examines intersections of psychology and law, particularly in competency restoration programs and community-based treatment alternatives.
