Rebecca Smith-Casey

Dr. Rebecca Smith-Casey is a Teaching Professor in the Department of Forensic Psychology at The Chicago School's College of Professional Psychology. She holds a Psy.D. in Combined School and Clinical Psychology from Kean University, a Juris Doctor from Villanova School of Law, and dual bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Law & Justice from The College of New Jersey. She is licensed in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and authorized for practice under the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact.

Her research focuses on the intersection of law and psychology, including trauma assessment in forensic contexts, competency evaluation tools, and the impact of special education history on forensic outcomes.
