Dr. Carolin Scheler is a Lecturer in Cultural Theory at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hanover (Faculty III - Media, Information and Design) and a former fellow of the DFG Research Training Group „Ästhetische Praxis“ (2019–2022) at the University of Hildesheim. Her research focuses on production aesthetics of 3D computer graphics, algorithmic cultural artifacts, and US-centric image culture. She holds a BA in Communication Design (Hanover/Columbus) and an MA in Cultural Theory (Hanover).
