Carol J. Gray is an Assistant Professor of Public Law at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, affiliated with the Department of Political Science and the Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies program. She serves as the primary pre-law advisor for the Law School Admissions Corporation and mentors students interested in legal careers.
- Research Focus: Interdisciplinary exploration of civil liberties, international human rights law, and Middle East-focused international relations, informed by her 100+ hour oral history project in Egypt.
- Teaching: Over three dozen courses across Law and Human Rights, Criminal Justice, Political Science (IR, Theory, Comparative, American Politics), and Asian-American Studies.
