Carmen Lara Rallo

Carmen Lara Rallo is a Full Professor at the University of Malaga's Department of English, French, and German Philology. She holds a Doctorate awarded cum laude in 2005 and has been actively involved in teaching and research since 2007. Her research focuses on contemporary British fiction, literary theory, and interdisciplinary intersections between literature and other arts.

Education: Licenciatura (First National Prize & Extraordinary Degree Award, 2000-2001), PhD (Extraordinary Doctorate Award). Teaching roles include undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs in English Studies.

Research highlights include participation in projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Andalusian Government, such as 'Orientation: A Dynamic Perspective on Contemporary Fiction' (2018-2021). Her awards include the Enrique García Díez Prize (2007) and María Zambrano Award (2007).

She coordinates the 'Critical Theory' panel at AEDEAN and has contributed to international conferences and publications. Her work bridges literary analysis with cultural and scientific disciplines.
