Carlos Nunez

Carlos Nunez is Professor of Theoretical Physics and Personal Chair at Swansea University. Educated in Argentina (PhD from Buenos Aires-La Plata Universities), he held postdoctoral positions at Harvard University, University of Cambridge, and MIT (as Pappalardo Fellow) before joining Swansea in 2006.

His research specializes in string theory, quantum field theory, and their applications to theoretical cosmology. He has taught courses ranging from foundational physics to advanced mathematics for physicists, including postgraduate summer schools.
