Carlo Giglio

Carlo Giglio is a Lecturer at the Department of Mechanical, Energetic and Management Engineering within the College of Engineering at the University of Calabria. He teaches Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship in the Management Engineering program and Sustainable Management of Infrastructure and Port Terminals in the Technologies of the Sea and Navigation course for 2025. His research bridges digital transformation, sustainability, and organizational innovation.

His work explores innovation management through corporate-startup collaborations, entrepreneurial intention development, and technology transfer. Recent studies examine the intersection of digitalization and ESG in energy sectors, smart city connectivity via AI-driven 6G networks, and consumer behavior on digital short-term rental platforms using signaling theory.

Carlo's publications highlight sustainable supply chain practices mediating digitalization's impact on SDGs, leadership styles in green innovation, and mobility restrictions in the Palestinian territories. He actively contributes to circular economy principles in tourism, technology management in the Turkish ICT industry, and stakeholder management in project outcomes.
