Calvin Brown

Calvin Brown is an Instructor of Jazz Piano in the Department of Music at the University of Virginia. He graduated from the Berklee School of Music and has extensive performance experience, including touring with Lady Rose Watson’s “Gospel Angels” and working as a keyboardist, arranger, and musical director for central Virginia’s esteemed groups. His original project, Calvin Presents, features a seven-piece band blending jazz and gospel with neo-soul, hip-hop, alt rock, and trap music.
