Caleb Klaces

Caleb Klaces is Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing and English Literature at York St John University's School of Humanities. His creative practice spans poetry collections and innovative fiction exploring ecological consciousness and globalization narratives.

Research integrates literary studies with environmental humanities, examining representations of complexity in ecological systems and global interconnections. Current projects include 'genetically modified' poetry using computational methods and investigating fictional representations of dementia through ethical frameworks.

Directs the York Centre for Writing Poetry Series highlighting underrepresented voices. Teaching covers narrative forms, poetry writing, and creative research methodologies across undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
