Caitlin Reese, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in neuropsychology and has clinical responsibilities including neuropsychological/cognitive evaluations of patients with neurological disorders and coordination of psychosocial education groups for those with mild cognitive impairment and multiple sclerosis. Dr. Reese joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2018 following a postdoctoral residency at the Baylor Institute for Rehabilitation and a doctoral internship at the Minneapolis Veterans Affairs Health Care System.
Her education includes a doctorate in clinical psychology from Ohio University, master’s degrees in forensic psychophysiology and clinical psychology, and an undergraduate degree in psychology with a neuroscience minor. Her research focuses on psychological factors influencing symptom and performance validity outcomes in neuropsychological assessments, alongside efforts to improve existing clinical measures.
