Caitlin Brandenburg

Dr. Caitlin Brandenburg holds the title of Casual Research Assistant & Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, The University of Queensland. Her primary affiliation is with the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, focusing on interdisciplinary healthcare research.

Education: She completed her PhD in 2015 at The University of Queensland with a thesis titled Performance-based measurement of participation for people with aphasia: using an iPhone application to measure talking time in everyday life.

Research Interests: Her work centers on aphasia rehabilitation, stroke recovery mechanisms, healthcare service delivery models, and clinician-researcher career pathways. She is particularly noted for contributions to the RELEASE collaborative study on aphasia interventions and analysis of healthcare systems in custodial settings. Her research integrates qualitative and quantitative methods to address gaps in service provision and workforce development.
