CHENG Cheng

CHENG Cheng is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at the School of Social Sciences, Singapore Management University (SMU), and a Lee Kong Chian Fellow (2022-2024). Her research focuses on gender, family, health, aging, and demography, examining how social inequalities arise through family dynamics. She holds a PhD from Princeton University and a BA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Research Interests: Her work explores gender power dynamics, wealth inequality, health disparities, and quantitative methodologies. Recent studies address green innovation’s impact on corporate performance and the role of environmental lawsuits in industry spillover effects.
