C. P. Wong is Regent’s Professor and Charles Smithgall Institute Endowed Chair at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He holds memberships in IEEE and the National Academy of Engineering. His doctoral studies were followed by a postdoctoral fellowship with Nobel Laureate Henry Taube at Stanford University. Prior to joining Georgia Tech, he was an AT&T Bell Laboratories Fellow.
Research Focus
His research spans polymeric materials, electronic packaging, interfacial adhesions, nano-functional material syntheses, and nanomaterials including carbon nanotubes and graphene composites. Key applications include flip-chip underfill technology and high-k capacitor materials.
