Rev. Dr. C. Gregory DeLoach serves as Dean of the School of Theology at Mercer University, a position he was appointed to in 2021 after serving as Interim Dean since 2018. Prior to joining Mercer's development staff in February 2017, Dean DeLoach served as senior pastor of First Baptist Augusta for 10 years and as executive director of Developmental Disabilities Ministries, an Atlanta-based nonprofit serving adults with developmental disabilities across Georgia. He previously served on Mercer University's Board of Trustees before assuming his current leadership role.
