Erik C. Carter

Erik C. Carter, DMin, PhD, is a Professor in the Religion - Relational Studies department at the School of Religion, Loma Linda University. He teaches practical theology, pastoral care, and spirituality, integrating religious perspectives into health sciences education.

• Education: Doctoral degrees from Claremont School of Theology (PhD) and Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (DMin).

His research spans practical theology, Christian-Jewish spirituality, Adventism, and Sabbath practices. Publications examine interfaith dynamics, theological renewal, and historical religious movements.
