Bryan Pinkall

Dr. Bryan Pinkall serves as Director of the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance and Associate Professor of Music at Kansas State University. A Grammy and Emmy award-winning musician, he performs internationally as a soloist and chorister with the Kansas City Chorale.

His educational background includes:

• Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) from University of Missouri Kansas City as a Kauffman Scholar
• Ellen Battell Stoeckel Fellowship at Yale University
• Master of Music in Voice & Choral Conducting and Bachelor of Arts in Voice from Kansas State University

Dr. Pinkall specializes in choral conducting, vocal performance, and historical musicology with emphasis on World War-era compositions. His immersive WWI/WWII recitals featuring lost music and new works have been presented at prestigious venues including the National World War II Museum, Kennedy Center, and Sydney Opera House. He maintains an active performance career across orchestras, early music ensembles, and opera productions.
