Brooke Rich

Brooke Rich serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Classics and Assistant Director of the Liberal Arts Honors and Humanities Program at The University of Texas at Austin's College of Liberal Arts.

Her research focuses on Roman cultural history, Latin literature, women in antiquity, and linguistics, reflecting deep engagement with social structures and textual analysis in classical studies. These interests directly inform her teaching in classical mythology and humanities education.

Rich teaches CC 303: Introduction to Classical Mythology as an asynchronous online course across nine consecutive semesters from Spring 2022 through Fall 2025, demonstrating sustained commitment to undergraduate instruction. Her administrative role in the Honors Program involves curriculum development and student mentorship for advanced humanities education.
