Todd A. Curtis is a Senior Lecturer in Classics at the University of Texas, College of Liberal Arts. He has taught courses on medical terminology, ancient medicine, and classical mythology since joining UT in 2009, after earning a PhD in Classics (2010) and MA in History of Medicine (2005) from Newcastle University, UK, and a BS in Physical Therapy (1993) and BA in Classics (2004) from the University of Texas. His research focuses on ancient Greek medicine, its rhetorical frameworks, and cross-disciplinary intersections with mythology and Christian thought.

He also explores mythological motifs in ancient scientific literature and teaches interdisciplinary courses blending classical studies with medical humanities.
