Brooke Ballantine Redmond

Dr. Brooke Ballantine Redmond is an Assistant Professor in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at the Yale School of Medicine, serving as Director of the innovative 24/7 BABY Neonatology-EMS Program. She holds certifications as a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE), Internationally Board-Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and contributes to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Pediatric First Aid & Safety Committee. Her clinical practice focuses on high-risk pregnancies through Yale's Fetal Care Center.

Education includes a BA in Geology & Religion from Amherst College (2004), MD from Columbia University (2012), Pediatric Residency at University of Massachusetts (2016), and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship at Yale (2019). She previously practiced at Nationwide Children's Hospital before returning to Yale.

Research interests emphasize simulation-based education, prehospital neonatal care, telemedicine applications, and narrative medicine. Her program integrates EMS systems with neonatal care to enhance out-of-hospital resuscitation protocols.
