Brigetta F. Miller is an Associate Professor of Music at Lawrence University’s Conservatory of Music, specializing in Music Education and Ethnic Studies. She is an enrolled member of the Stockbridge-Munsee (Mohican) Nation and a Menominee descendant. Her work focuses on decolonizing educational spaces through Indigenous knowledge systems, addressing racial equity, and centering Indigenous narratives. She serves on the National Indian Education Association (NIEA) Governance Committee and has been recognized with Lawrence’s highest teaching award in 2022.

Her recent work includes collaborations on the Indigenous Land Project mural (with photographer Matika Wilbur) and the Kaeyes Mamaceqtawuk plaza dedication, blending art, education, and community.
