Brian Lewis

Brian Lewis is a Professor in the Department of Ear Training at Berklee College of Music. He specializes in jazz composition, arrangement, and trumpet performance. His works are performed and recorded internationally, and his transcriptions have been featured in Keyboard magazine. Professionally, he has collaborated with artists such as the Mel Lewis Orchestra, David Clayton-Thomas, and the Temptations.

He holds a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York and a master's in jazz writing from the University of Miami. Lewis teaches online courses, including Jazz Arranging, and has contributed to Berklee's curriculum since his appointment.
