Brian Athey is a Professor at the University of Michigan Medical School and Founding Chair of the Department of Computational Medicine and Bioinformatics. He serves as an AI advisor to Michigan Medicine and co-founded the Michigan Institute for Data Science (MIDAS). His interdisciplinary leadership includes roles in the Peking University-UM Joint Institute and the NIH National Center for Integrative Biomedical Informatics (NCIBI).
