Brett W. Whittenberger

Brett W. Whittenberger is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Justice, Law and Security at La Roche University. As a Lieutenant with the Allegheny County Police since 2022, he brings practical expertise in crisis negotiation, executive protection, and terrorism investigations from his service on the FBI Pittsburgh Joint Terrorism Task Force (2011-2018).

His professional background includes international deployment with the U.S. Marine Corps in Iraq and extensive law enforcement experience across patrol operations, investigations, and specialized units. Whittenberger teaches courses on Terrorism, Intelligence Analysis, and Police and Society.
