Brandy R. Fox, Ph.D., is the Chair of Natural Sciences and Associate Professor of Chemistry at Saint Martin's University. She holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Saint Martin's University (2006) and a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Oregon (2011). Her career includes teaching roles at Willamette University and the University of Oregon before returning to Saint Martin's in 2016.
Her research focuses on inorganic chemistry, organometallic chemistry, catalysis, green chemistry, and chemical education. She emphasizes practical applications, such as developing sustainable catalysts and designing undergraduate lab experiments aligned with green chemistry principles. Dr. Fox is passionate about mentoring students and fostering critical thinking through hands-on learning.
Outside academia, she enjoys outdoor activities with her family, including gardening, camping, and exploring nature.
