Brandon Crisel

Brandon Crisel is a Lecturer and Undergraduate Advisor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at the University of Arkansas's College of Engineering. He joined the department in July 2022 and focuses on improving educational methods and practices in STEM fields, building upon his earlier work in systems reliability.

Education:

• M.S. in Industrial Engineering, University of Arkansas
• M.S. in Mathematics with emphasis in Statistics, Arkansas State University
• B.S. in Mathematics, Arkansas State University

Mr. Crisel's research evolved from systems reliability to enhancing educational practices in engineering. He is actively engaged in teaching and advising, with a strong commitment to student success in STEM.

Scientific and Teaching Awards:

• Inaugural Dean’s Non-Tenure Track Teaching Award, University of Arkansas College of Engineering
• Departmental Award for Teaching, First-Year Engineering Program

Mr. Crisel contributes to academic communities through membership in FYEE, ASEE, Alpha Tau Omega, and volunteer work with FIRST. His role as an Undergraduate Advisor supports students in their academic journeys within the College of Engineering.
