Brandon Crews

Brandon Crews is an Assistant Professor and Program Director of Simulation and Game Design at William Peace University. He specializes in 3D character rigging, animation, and motion capture for video games and entertainment media, with industry experience on titles like Fortnite and M.U.S.E. Episode 1: Beyond The Shadow. He holds a BFA in Animation and Interactive Design from East Carolina University and an M.A./M.S. in Animation and New Media from North Carolina State University.

His research interests include technical animation, digital art asset creation, and game design pedagogy. Crews has taught since 2008, developing instructional materials and video tutorials for higher education. Outside academia, he enjoys soccer, Marvel comics, and spending time with his family.
