Brady Deaton, Jr. is a Professor and McCain Family Chair in Food Security at the University of Guelph's Department of Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics. Holding a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from Michigan State University, he has served as President of the Canadian Agricultural Economics Society and as an editor for the Canadian Journal of Agricultural Economics.
