Brad Maguth

Dr. Brad Maguth is a Professor of Social Studies Education at The University of Akron, where he serves as Director of the H.K. Barker Center for Economic Education. He is an award-winning researcher, teacher, and consultant recognized for his work in global education and community engagement.

Dr. Maguth specializes in global economic education and Holocaust studies, leading international study abroad programs to Ireland, the UK, Germany, and Poland. His research bridges educational leadership with real-world applications, including youth mentorship initiatives targeting at-risk populations in Akron.
