Boby Mathew

Boby Mathew is an Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Comparative Medicine at Yale School of Medicine. His research focuses on proteomics, neurodegenerative diseases, and neuropsychiatric disorders, with particular emphasis on biomarker development and protein interaction networks. He has contributed to studies on exosome-based biomarkers, spatial protein interactions in brain tissue, and the molecular mechanisms underlying conditions like major depressive disorder and cancer stem cell regulation. Collaborations include work with Shveta Bathla and Arthur C. Nairn, among others.

Key projects involve analyzing hemoglobin variants using mass spectrometry and exploring the role of RhoC protein in epigenetic regulation of cancer stem cells.
