Bobbye Roberts

Bobbye Roberts, MSW, LCSW, is an Associate Professor of Social Work and Program Director of the Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Program at Louisiana Christian University (LCU). She has over 18 years of social work practice experience, including roles as a therapist in community mental health centers and program director for a children’s in-patient psychiatric unit. Dr. Roberts teaches across the social work curriculum and previously served as Field Education Director for six years.

Her education includes a Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Social Work from LCU. She co-authored the LCU BSW Program Reaffirmation Self-Study (2012) and has presented at the NACSW Conference and local forums.

Professional affiliations include the North American Association of Christian Social Workers, the Council on Social Work Education, and the Cenla Homeless Coalition Continuum of Care (CoC) as a board member. She co-sponsors the Social Work Students’ Club and Phi Alpha Honor Society.
