Bob Nations

Bob Nations is an Assistant Teaching Professor at Wake Forest University, affiliated with the Department of Counseling. He has been part of the Wake Forest faculty since 2011, with his current affiliation extending through 2025. His roles include serving as Director of Online Counseling Programs and Department Liaison for the Divinity School.

His research and professional interests focus on integrating spirituality into counseling, premarital and couples/family counseling, group therapy, and supporting clergy and religious organizations during transitions. He has extensive experience in pastoral care, counseling, and program leadership, including roles at Charter Mandela Hospital and Centenary United Methodist Church.
