Bo Durbeej

Bo Durbeej is a Professor at Linköping University's Department of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (IFM), leading the Theoretical Chemistry unit. He holds a PhD from Uppsala University (2004) and has held postdoctoral positions at the University of Sydney (2005) and Università di Siena (2006). He became a Marie Curie Fellow (2007-2008), Researcher at Uppsala (2009), and joined Linköping as a LiU Research Fellow (2010). Promoted to Docent (2011), Senior Lecturer (2014), Associate Professor (2017), and Professor (2019). His research focuses on molecular motors, switches, photobiology, and theoretical chemistry, with grants from the Swedish Research Council, EU, and foundations like Olle Engkvist and Carl Trygger.
