Betsy Uschkrat

Betsy Uschkrat is a soprano and vocal instructor at Loyola University New Orleans' College of Music and Media, specializing in classical and musical theatre performance. She teaches in the Vocal (Classical) Department and the Popular and Commercial Music degree program.

Dr. Uschkrat’s performances span opera, musical theatre, and symphonic works, including roles like Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Julie Jordan in Carousel, and Donna Anna in Don Giovanni. Her symphonic credits include Mendelssohn’s Elijah and Handel’s Messiah.
