Beth Morley is an Assistant Professor in the University College's The Writing Program at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She holds a Bachelor’s in Creative Writing from Western Michigan University and a Master’s in Literature from Eastern Michigan University. Prior to academia, she spent a decade in media and communications, specializing in advertising copy, technical specifications, and digital content creation. She transitioned to teaching in 2006, with previous roles at the University of Texas at Dallas before joining UTSA.
Her professional expertise bridges creative writing, technical communication, and digital media. She actively contributes to the Writing Program’s curriculum and pedagogical initiatives. Beyond academia, she maintains a pseudonymous fan fiction writing practice and is an avid reader. She resides in San Antonio with her family and a Miniature Schnauzer.
